Recurrent external otitis in felines represents a complex clinical challenge due to the multifactorial nature of the condition, characterized by difficulties in differential diagnosis, potential association with underlying systemic conditions such as kidney disease, and the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance. The presented case study illustrates the practical application of a holistic diagnostic approach, incorporating ear cytology, microbiological cultures, antimicrobial sensitivity profiling, and otoendoscopy, aiming for precise identification of the underlying etiology and appropriate therapeutic selection.
